KONG: Skull Island.
Promotional Campaign.

Challenge.

To mark the release of Kong: Skull Island, JCDecaux and Roadshow partnered to deliver the largest ever, fully immersive activation at Southern Cross Station in Melbourne's CBD. JCDecaux Australia approached SHOTCUT to capture this amazing transformation over a 24 hour period and create a promotional piece to aid with marketing the film's release.

Result.

Using a combination of timelapse, video, 360 technology & drones, SHOTCUT produced an exciting promotional campaign which took inspiration from the mood of the film to showcase the amazing installation and transformation of one of Melbourne's busiest stations. The combination of equipment used was able to capture both the sheer size of the project, as well as the excitement it created the morning after it's secret install.
